This movie shows an amoeba, a single celled organism. It was found in some pond water and was filmed using a digital microscope at Staines Prep. School. It was viewed at 400x magnification. A grain of sand could cover all of the rectangle that makes up the video area. The amoeba is put in the group Protozoa which is part of a kingdom of living things called the Protista.
