| This herring gull is a sea bird. Like a lot of gulls they can be found in towns and cities. This is mainly because we leave a lot of food lying around that they are only too pleased to eat especially in our rubbish dumps. In the wild they will eat fish, crabs whether caught or washed up on the sea shore. They have been know to eat the chicks of other herring gulls. | ||
