rabbit

The rabbit is a herbivore. It must spend a lot of time eating grass and other plants. To avoid being eaten by predators it has good senses. Its eyes on the side of its head - so it can see what is happening around it even when it is facing down. Its ears can be turned to help it hear what is going on around it. By living in colonies the rabbit is able to share the job of keeping watch so it stands a better chance of being warned when a predator is about.
