Water
flowing over a waterfall. Like all liquids it has no fixed shape.
It is a colourless, transparent material.
Without it we wouldn't exist and neither would any other living thing.
It is a good solvent for many substances - it dissolves
minerals and the plants that live in the water can absorb them. It also
dissolves oxygen which fish can absorb through their
gills.
